Why Buy A Dishwasher?

There is a commonly held misconception that washing dishes by hand is more efficient than using a machine. In fact, the opposite is true: dishwashers use much less water to clean the same amount of plates, cups, and cutlery than manually filling the sink several times.

They are also the more hygienic option because the water in a dishwasher reaches hotter temperatures than when you wash by hand, which kills off harmful bacteria.

For many, the biggest benefit of buying a washing machine is simply the time you save. Washing up by hand was recently voted Britain’s least favorite activity, so why not spend your evenings doing something more enjoyable or productive than scrubbing dishes?

What Types of Dishwasher Are Available?

• Slimline: Around 500mm in width, these are slightly thinner than full-size models (approx. 600mm) and fit in smaller gaps.
• Freestanding: These stand on their own and can be placed anywhere in your home.
• Built-In: Fitted into your kitchen units, available as fully integrated (completely hidden) or semi-integrated (controls visible).
